Congratulations of the birth of your beautiful baby! Now you get to take this sweet bundle of love home and start being a mom. Don't be overwhelmed, you've got this and here's a few tips to get you started:

Feeding- Babies eat a lot. Here’s how they tell you they’re hungry: Turns her head toward your chest when you’re holding her, sucks on hand, opens her mouth and sticks out her tongue, and the one we all know: Crying, a sign that they may be really hungry!

Changing diapers- Often! Diaper rash is painful and that will happen if baby is left in a wet or poopy diaper for too long. Use a diaper rash cream to help prevent and clear a rash. Don’t use baby powder- babies will breathe it in and it causes breathing and lung problems!

Sleep- Babies sleep a lot, but they will wake up every 2 – 3 hours to eat. My baby had jaundice and was so sleepy that he would not wake up to eat. We had to see the doctor and get that straightened out fast! Click here to keep your baby safe while sleeping.

Loving and Snuggling- Do not let anyone tell you that you will spoil your baby if you hold them! Oh my gosh, that’s why God made babies so cute.
