Good things about stress:

A little stress is normal.

A little stress helps us focus on the issue.

Bad things about stress:

We worry way too much.

We compensate for stress in ways that are not healthy.

To overcome stress do you…

  1. Overeat
  2. Smoke
  3. Use drugs or alcohol ?

That’s when stress is harmful to you and your baby.

Here are 5 good things to try instead:

  1. Talk to someone will listen, someone who is upbeat and positive
  2. Focus on taking slow deep breaths
  3. Take a 20 minute walk
  4. Pray
  5. You don’t have to have your whole life figured out today. Take one day at a time.

Repeat this:

Your situation is NEVER as bad as you think it is.

The best decisions are made from hope.
