Do You Want More Confidence?

August 7, 2019

Did you think you were “all that and a bag of chips” but lost some confidence when you found out you were pregnant?

Our confidence can be shaken by feelings of fear, insecurity, worry, and body image just to name a few.

If pregnancy is causing you to have:

  • Fear
  • Insecurity about your weight gain and changes to your body
  • Worries about continuing your education now that you’re pregnant
  • Relationship problems
  • Insecurity about being a good mom
  • It’s time to shake those negative vibes and Get your confidence back!

Let’s address those negative feelings and confidence shakers:

Fear- A little bit of fear is ok. It causes our senses to be on high alert and keeps us safe. When you have a little fear, that’s an opportunity to take back control make some good decisions.  Is your fear causing you to make poor decisions, or to stand still and not move? Do not let fear win. You were made to be brave and unafraid!

Insecurity- How often do we doubt ourselves? We shouldn’t though. You were created for a purpose and that purpose is GOOD. You are loved beyond measure.

Worry- The bible tells us 365 times, “ Do not worry”. Easier said than done, right?! While a little bit of worry can help you see things clearly, a lot of worry can cause you to feel physically sick. There’s a prayer that I love whenever I am tempted to worry and it goes like this:

“ God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

The courage to change the things I can

And the wisdom to know the difference.”

All we can control is our effort and our attitude. When you replace fear and worry with knowledge, good decisions, positive people, humility and faith, get ready to see your confidence soar!

Believe in yourself.

Smile more.

Be kind.

You are “All that and a bag of chips!"
