Was that just gas pains or am I in labor?

My feet are suddenly swelling and my head feels like it is about to explode…

Pregnancy is full of questions and concerns and there may be days when you feel like you need to call the doctor every 10 minutes and ask,

“Is this Normal?!”

Every little tweak and twinge probably does not need to be reported.

 Although every pregnancy is different,

Some symptoms should never be ignored. Let your doctor know if you have:

*Feet, hands and face that are suddenly swelling and your head feels like it may explode.

* Vaginal bleeding

* Sudden pain or severe cramping in your abdomen

* Severe headache

* Changes in vision, dizziness

* Vomiting that lasts more than 24 hours

* Burning with urination

* Changes in your baby’s movement, decrease in the kicks

* Fever over 100 degrees F.

If you don’t have a thermometer, your body may let you know that you have a fever; Symptoms of fever include chills and feeling like you are freezing cold but your skin feels hot to the touch.

Early labor:

A. Your doctor will let you know about the symptoms of early labor.  https://www.marchofdimes.org/complications/signs-and-symptoms-of-preterm...

B. Let your doctor know if you experience those symptoms, right away!

Embrace the beauty of pregnancy and all the changes in your body.

Best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy!
